Biography
Primary research interests: history and literature of early modern witchcraft, magic, and demonology; representation of witchcraft in Renaissance poetry; sexual culture and homoeroticism in early modern France.
Secondary research interests: Québécois literature; 20th- century women writers (Ernaux, Sarraute, Sagan), life-writing about diseases and the body (especially Guibert); mother-daughter relationships in mass media (especially Marie-Claire, Elle, and Mademoiselle Âge Tendre).
