I specialize in modern and contemporary Israeli art history and visual culture, art theory, and modern Jewish philosophy. By rethinking how we interpret and evaluate art, my research creates space to incorporate marginalized narratives and practices into art history. Through case studies in Israel, I aim to develop a more robust theoretical framework that meaningfully encompasses both canonical artworks and historically marginalized practices, ultimately making art history more comprehensive and effective.
